Gabor Heged\"us, Brian Moore

TL;DR
This paper provides a complete classification and characterization of the Minkowskian planar 4R mechanism, opening new research avenues in geometric design within non-Euclidean spaces.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive framework for analyzing and classifying 4R linkages in Minkowskian geometry, expanding the scope of geometric linkage theory.
Findings
Complete classification of Minkowskian 4R mechanisms
New insights into geometric design in non-Euclidean spaces
Foundation for future research in Minkowskian linkages
Abstract
We characterize and classify completely the planar 4R closed chain working on the Minkowskian plane. Our work would open a new research direction in the theory of geometric designs: the classification and characterization of the geometric design of linkages working in non--Euclidean spaces.
