Role of nuclear radii in the exotic cluster-decay
Narinder K. Dhiman

TL;DR
This paper investigates how different nuclear radius formulas affect the calculated half-lives of cluster decay in $^{56}$Ni$^{*}$, highlighting the importance of radius choice in decay predictions.
Contribution
It compares the impact of Royer and Bass radius formulas on cluster decay half-life calculations within the PCM framework.
Findings
Royer radius formula yields half-lives within ±7%
Bass radius formula yields half-lives within ±10%
Radius choice significantly influences decay half-life predictions
Abstract
We have calculated the half-lives of Ni within PCM for clusters O. The cluster decay half-lives studied with respect to radius formula due to Royer (R) shows that the half-lives lie within 7%, excluding Bass radius formula where these lie within 10%.
