Recent developments in nonsupersymmetric SO(10) unification
Luca Di Luzio

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent progress in developing a minimal, predictive nonsupersymmetric SO(10) GUT, demonstrating that previous incompatibility issues can be resolved through one-loop effective potential analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a revived minimal SO(10) GUT scenario showing compatibility between unification constraints and symmetry breaking dynamics.
Findings
Successful implementation of one-loop effective potential
Revival of minimal nonsupersymmetric SO(10) GUT viability
Resolution of longstanding unification and symmetry breaking conflict
Abstract
I review the recent efforts in the search for a minimal and predictive nonsupersymmetric SO(10) Grand Unified Thoery (GUT). The outcome is the revival of a minimal scenario in which a long standing result, claiming the incompatibility between unification constraints and symmetry breaking dynamics, is now confuted by the implementation of the one-loop effective potential.
