Vasil Kolev

TL;DR
This paper presents a reprogrammable, lossless wavelet filter bank architecture optimized for integer wavelet transforms, reducing operations and enabling efficient forward and backward processing.
Contribution
Introduces a novel parallel architecture and modules for integer wavelet transforms with fewer operations and reprogrammable logic.
Findings
Reduced number of operations in wavelet filter bank
Reprogrammable architecture for forward and backward transforms
Efficient implementation of second-generation wavelets
Abstract
This article is about the architecture of a lossless wavelet filter bank with reprogrammable logic. It is based on second generation of wavelets with a reduced of number of operations. A new basic structure for parallel architecture and modules to forward and backward integer discrete wavelet transform is proposed.
