TL;DR
This paper investigates how Weyl corrections influence the properties of 3+1 holographic superconductors, revealing that the critical temperature and conductivity ratios depend on the Weyl coupling parameter, with notable effects when it is negative.
Contribution
The study introduces the effects of Weyl corrections on 3+1 holographic superconductors, analyzing critical temperature and conductivity ratios across different coupling parameters.
Findings
Critical temperature increases with Weyl coupling parameter .
The ratio g/T_c increases as decreases.
An extra spike appears inside the gap when < 0.
Abstract
In this paper we study holographic superconductors with Weyl corrections. We find that the critical temperature of a superconductor with Weyl corrections increases as we amplify the Weyl coupling parameter , indicating the condensation will be harder when the parameter decreases. We also calculate the conductivity and the ratio of gap frequency over critical temperature numerically for various coupling parameters. We find that the ratio becomes larger when the Weyl coupling parameter decreases. We also notice that when there is an extra spike that appears inside the gap.
