Skyrme-force dependence of fusion cross-sections using Wong formula in semiclassical formalism
Raj Kumar, Raj K Gupta

TL;DR
This paper investigates how different Skyrme forces influence fusion cross-sections by applying the Wong formula within a semiclassical ETF framework, highlighting the impact of force choice on nuclear barrier properties.
Contribution
It introduces a method to analyze fusion cross-sections using various Skyrme forces within a semiclassical formalism, emphasizing the dependence of barrier characteristics on the force used.
Findings
Fusion cross-sections vary with different Skyrme forces.
Barrier modifications depend on the chosen Skyrme interaction.
The approach links force parameters to reaction outcomes.
Abstract
we use the nuclear proximity potential obtained recently for the Skyrme nucleus-nucleus interaction in the semiclassical extended Thomas Fermi (ETF) approach using Skyrme energy density formalism (SEDF) under frozen-density (sudden-without-exchange) approximation, and =0. This method allows the barrier modifications by using different Skyrme forces, since a different Skyrme force would mean different barrier characteristics, and possibly a different force for different reaction cross-section.
