Graviton mass and cosmological constant: a toy model
Dimitrios Metaxas

TL;DR
This paper presents a toy model where the graviton mass and cosmological constant depend on a scalar field, analyzing the graviton propagator and effective potential to explore stability and symmetry breaking.
Contribution
It introduces a simplified model linking graviton mass and cosmological constant to a scalar field, providing insights into their interplay and stability issues.
Findings
Calculated graviton propagator in the model
Derived effective potential for the scalar field
Discussed stability and symmetry breaking conditions
Abstract
I consider a simple model where the graviton mass and the cosmological constant depend on a scalar field with appropriate couplings and I calculate the graviton propagator and the resulting effective potential for the scalar field in order to examine issues of stability and symmetry breaking.
