Lorentz violation in solar-neutrino oscillations
Jonah E. Bernhard

TL;DR
This paper investigates how tiny violations of Lorentz symmetry could affect solar-neutrino oscillations, providing simplified formulas that are accurate for small violations.
Contribution
It introduces a perturbative approach to include Lorentz violation in solar-neutrino oscillation models, resulting in more compact and accurate formulas for small violations.
Findings
Compact formulas for Lorentz violation effects
Accurate to leading order for small coefficients
Simplifies previous models involving vacuum oscillations
Abstract
Solar-neutrino oscillations are considered using a massive model with perturbative Lorentz violation. The adiabatic approximation is used to calculate the effects of Lorentz violation to leading order. The results are more compact than previous work involving vacuum oscillations, and are accurate for small Lorentz-violating coefficients.
