X.-B. Wang, Z.-W. Yu, J.-Z. Hu, and F. Nori

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the entanglement of bipartite quantum states can be probabilistically enhanced using only single-qubit operations, supported by a proposed experiment and numerical simulations.
Contribution
It introduces a method to improve bipartite entanglement through single-qubit operations, which was not previously established.
Findings
Entanglement can be maximized probabilistically with single-qubit operations.
A feasible experimental setup is proposed for implementation.
Numerical simulations confirm the effectiveness of the method.
Abstract
We show that the entanglement of a bipartite state can be improved and maximized probabilistically through single-qubit operations only. An experiment is proposed and it is numerically simulated.
