An Improved Dilaton Background in Soft-Wall Model
Hongying Jin, Gang Liu

TL;DR
This paper proposes a modified dilaton background in the soft-wall model using a new scalar field v.e.v. form, resulting in improved phenomenological results while maintaining Regge trajectories.
Contribution
It introduces a new dilaton background form in the soft-wall model, enhancing its predictive accuracy compared to existing models.
Findings
Achieves better results than current soft-wall and hard-wall models
Maintains Regge behavior with the new dilaton background
Provides a more accurate description of hadron spectra
Abstract
We adopted the form of v.e.v. of the bulk scalar field proposed by P.Zhang in this paper, and changed the dilaton background from to accordingly. The calculation shows that, as if we choose proper parameters, we can get a better result than both the present soft-wall models and the hard-wall model while keeping Regge behavior unchanged.
