Azimuthal asymmetries in unpolarized Drell-Yan processes and the Boer-Mulders distributions of antiquarks
Vincenzo Barone, Stefano Melis, Alexei Prokudin

TL;DR
This paper extracts antiquark Boer-Mulders distributions by fitting unpolarized Drell-Yan data, confirming their consistency with previous semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering results within the transverse-momentum factorization framework.
Contribution
It provides the first extraction of antiquark Boer-Mulders distributions from Drell-Yan data, extending previous quark-focused analyses and validating the transverse-momentum factorization approach.
Findings
Good agreement with experimental data at low transverse momentum
Antiquark Boer-Mulders distributions are consistent with prior semi-inclusive DIS extractions
Supports the applicability of transverse-momentum factorization in this context
Abstract
Using a previous extraction of the quark Boer-Mulders distributions from semiinclusive deep inelastic scattering data, we fit the unpolarized Drell-Yan data on the asymmetry, determining the antiquark Boer-Mulders distributions. A good agreement with the data is found in the region of low , where the transverse-momentum factorization approach applies.
