TL;DR
This paper investigates how tensor forces in effective nucleon-nucleon interactions influence nuclear excited states across various isotopes using a self-consistent RPA approach.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of tensor force effects on nuclear excitations within a self-consistent framework, focusing on calcium isotopes.
Findings
Tensor forces significantly affect excitation energies.
Results show variation of effects across different isotopes.
Provides insights into the role of tensor interactions in nuclear structure.
Abstract
We study the effects of the tensor term of the effective nucleon-nucleon interaction on nuclear excited states. Our investigation has been conducted by using a self-consistent Random Phase Approximation approach. We investigate various nuclei in different regions of the isotopes chart. Results for a set of calcium isotopes are shown.
