Transience in Dynamical Systems
Godofredo Iommi, Mike Todd

TL;DR
This paper extends the theory of transience to general dynamical systems without Markov assumptions, linking it to phase transitions and presenting new examples of transient behaviors.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized framework for transience in dynamical systems and connects it to phase transition theory, with novel examples of transient phenomena.
Findings
Extended transience theory to non-Markov systems
Linked transience with phase transition concepts
Provided new examples of transient behaviors
Abstract
We extend the theory of transience to general dynamical systems with no Markov structure assumed. This is linked to the theory of phase transitions. We also provide examples of new kinds of transient behaviour.
