TL;DR
This paper extends a linear sigma model to include three flavors and vector mesons, providing preliminary results on scalar meson masses to better understand meson properties in quantum chromodynamics.
Contribution
It introduces an extension of the linear sigma model to three flavors with vector and axial-vector mesons, advancing the theoretical framework for meson studies.
Findings
Preliminary scalar meson mass results presented.
Model extension to Nf=3 with vector degrees of freedom.
Enhanced understanding of meson mass spectrum.
Abstract
We outline the extension of the globally chirally invariant Nf = 2 linear sigma model with vector and axial-vector degrees of freedom to Nf=3. We present preliminary results concerning the scalar meson masses.
