Applications of closure operations on big CohenMacaulay algebras
Mohsen Asgharzadeh, Rajsekhar Bhattacharyya

TL;DR
This paper discusses the use of closure operations on big Cohen-Macaulay algebras, inspired by dagger closure and Northcott's ideas, to explore homological properties beyond Noetherian assumptions.
Contribution
It introduces new perspectives on big Cohen-Macaulay algebras using closure operations, extending homological techniques beyond traditional Noetherian contexts.
Findings
Insights into closure operations on big Cohen-Macaulay algebras
Connections between dagger closure and homological properties
Extensions of Noetherian assumptions in algebraic contexts
Abstract
In this note we present some remarks on big Cohen-Macaulay algebras. Our methods for doing this are inspired by the notion of dagger closure and by ideas of Northcott on dropping of the Noetherian assumption of certain homological properties.
