Lepton flavour violation in a nonuniversal gauge interaction model
Kang Young Lee

TL;DR
This paper investigates lepton flavor violation caused by flavor-changing neutral currents in a nonuniversal gauge model where the third generation of fermions interacts differently with the electroweak gauge group.
Contribution
It introduces a nonuniversal gauge interaction model with family-dependent gauge groups and analyzes the resulting lepton flavor violation effects.
Findings
FCNC occur at tree level in the model
Lepton flavor violation processes are enhanced compared to the Standard Model
Potential experimental signatures of LFV in future experiments
Abstract
The flavour-changing neutral currents (FCNC) are derived at tree level if the electroweak gauge group depends on the fermion family, which are absent in the standard model. We study the lepton flavour violation (LFV) through the FCNC interactions in a nonuniversal gauge interaction model where the third generation fermions are subjected to the separate SU(2) gauge group.
