Hidden asymmetry and forward-backward correlations
A. Bialas, K. Zalewski

TL;DR
This paper introduces a model-independent method to analyze forward-backward correlations in symmetric high-energy processes, enabling the detection of hidden asymmetric structures in particle production.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel, model-independent approach for studying asymmetries in symmetric high-energy collisions, revealing hidden structures in particle sources.
Findings
Method effectively uncovers hidden asymmetries.
Applicable to hadron-hadron and nucleus-nucleus reactions.
Enhances understanding of particle source properties.
Abstract
A model-independent method of studying the forward-backward correlations in symmetric high energy processes is developed. The method allows a systematic study of properties of various particle sources and to uncover asymmetric structures hidden in symmetric hadron-hadron and nucleus-nucleus inelastic reactions.
