TL;DR
This paper presents a lattice QCD approach to derive baryon-baryon interactions, successfully extracting nucleon-nucleon and hyperon-nucleon potentials, including tensor and central components, in both quenched and full QCD simulations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel lattice QCD method to compute baryon-baryon potentials, extending to tensor and hyperon interactions, with results aligning qualitatively with known potentials.
Findings
Successfully extracted nucleon-nucleon potentials in quenched QCD.
Extended method to obtain tensor and hyperon-nucleon potentials.
Reproduced qualitative features of modern nucleon-nucleon potentials.
Abstract
We report on new attempt to investigate baryon-baryon interactions in lattice QCD. From the Bethe-Salpeter (BS) wave function, we have successfully extracted the nucleon-nucleon () potentials in quenched QCD simulations, which reproduce qualitative features of modern potentials. The method has been extended to obtain the tensor potential as well as the central potential and also applied to the hyperon-nucleon () interactions, in both quenched and full QCD.
