Maciej Oszwaldowski, Piotr Pieranski, Tomasz Berus, Jakub Jankowski

TL;DR
This paper offers a new interpretation of the Hall effect in a medium with a hole, resolving previous paradoxes without introducing new theories.
Contribution
It provides a reinterpretation of the Hall potential distribution in a Hall bar-with-a-hole, clarifying existing paradoxes with existing theoretical frameworks.
Findings
All previous paradoxes explained without new theories
Reinterpretation aligns with experimental observations
Clarifies the distribution of Hall potential in complex geometries
Abstract
We reinterpret the distribution of the Hall potential in the Hall bar-with-a-hole that has been found and interpreted by Mani and Klitzing [Appl. Phys. Lett., 64 1262 (1994)]. Our reinterpretation explains all the "paradoxes" without resorting to new theoretical conceptions.
