TL;DR
This paper extends Verlinde's idea of gravity as an emergent entropic force to include gauge fields and matter, proposing a universe with no fundamental forces or matter.
Contribution
It introduces a unified framework where gauge fields and matter emerge from entropic principles, challenging traditional notions of fundamental interactions.
Findings
Gauge fields and matter can be derived as emergent phenomena.
Supports a universe with no fundamental forces or matter.
Extends entropic gravity concepts to gauge theories.
Abstract
Erik Verlinde's proposal of the emergence of the gravitational force as an entropic force is extended to abelian and non-abelian gauge fields and to matter fields. This suggests a picture with no fundamental forces or forms of matter whatsoever.
