Roman Pasechnik, Antoni Szczurek, and Oleg Teryaev

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of polarized axial-vector and tensor charmonia in proton-(anti)proton collisions, deriving amplitudes within the $k_t$-factorisation framework and discussing experimental implications.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed derivation of amplitudes for polarized $ ext{chi}_c(1^+)$ and $ ext{chi}_c(2^+)$ production in diffractive processes at Tevatron energies.
Findings
Quantified contributions from different polarization states.
Derived explicit amplitudes within the $k_t$-factorisation approach.
Discussed potential experimental signatures.
Abstract
We consider exclusive double diffractive production of polarised axial-vector and tensor charmonia in proton-(anti)proton collisions at Tevatron energy. The corresponding amplitudes for these processes are derived within the -factorisation approach. Contributions from different polarisation states of axial-vector and tensor charmonia are quantified. Corresponding experimental consequences are discussed.
