Quark Lepton Similarity
Seungsu Hwang, Kim Siyeon

TL;DR
This paper suggests a theoretical connection between quark and lepton mixing matrices, constraining physical parameters and predicting specific conditions for neutrino masses and mixing angles.
Contribution
It introduces a novel hypothesis that the lepton mixing matrix is similar to the quark mixing matrix at high energy, narrowing parameter ranges.
Findings
$ heta_{13}$ not larger than 0.15
Neutrino masses are quasi-degenerate with normal ordering
Large $ aneta$ is required
Abstract
We propose the lepton mixing matrix at high energy scale to be connected to quark mixing matrix by the similar transformation. The similarity between CKM and PMNS significantly narrows down the ranges in physical parameters. The condition requires not to be larger than 0.15, masses to be of quasi-degenerate normal ordering, and to be large.
