Raquel M. Lopez, Benjamin R. Morin, and Sergei K. Suslov

TL;DR
This paper explores explicit solutions for logistic models with time-dependent coefficients, revisiting classical sunflower seed growth data and discussing applications to biological systems with periodic parameters.
Contribution
It provides explicit solutions for logistic models with variable parameters and demonstrates their application to biological data, including periodic coefficient cases.
Findings
Explicit solutions for logistic models with variable coefficients
Application to sunflower seed growth data
Discussion of biological system applications
Abstract
We discuss explicit solutions of the logistic model with variable parameters. Classical data on the sunflower seeds growth are revisited as a simple application of the logistic model with periodic coefficients. Some applications to related biological systems are briefly reviewed.
