A. F. Ferrari, A. Yu. Petrov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the effects of Lorentz-violating modifications in linearized gravity, focusing on altered gravitational wave dispersion relations and exploring potential mechanisms for inducing such modifications.
Contribution
It introduces a Lorentz-violating term in linearized gravity and analyzes its impact on gravitational wave propagation and possible origins.
Findings
Modified dispersion relations for gravitational waves
Potential mechanisms for Lorentz violation induction
Implications for gravitational wave observations
Abstract
We study some consequences of the introduction of a Lorentz-violating modification term in the linearized gravity, which leads to modified dispersion relations for gravitational waves in the vacuum. We also discuss possible mechanisms for the induction of such a term in the Lagrangian.
