Edwin J. Son, Wontae Kim

TL;DR
This paper analyzes cyclic universe models within deformed Horava-Lifshitz gravity, showing bouncing and oscillating solutions depend on spatial curvature and specific energy components.
Contribution
It provides a phase space analysis revealing conditions for nonsingular cyclic universes in deformed Horava-Lifshitz gravity.
Findings
Bouncing universe occurs only with positive spatial curvature.
Oscillating universe possible with negative dark radiation and negative cosmological constant.
Phase space analysis identifies stability conditions for cyclic solutions.
Abstract
We perform the phase space analysis in terms of the linearization technique in the Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz gravity with the softly broken detailed balance condition. It can be shown that the bouncing universe appears only for the positive spatial curvature of , and it is possible to obtain oscillating universe with the help of the negative dark radiation and the negative cosmological constant.
