TL;DR
This paper constrains the $Z^\prime tc$ coupling using $D^{0}-ar{D^{0}}$ mixing data and explores its implications for single top production at the ILC, predicting observable event rates and decay branching ratios.
Contribution
It provides the first bounds on the $Z^\prime tc$ coupling from meson mixing and analyzes its potential detection at the ILC through single top production.
Findings
Coupling strength less than 5.75×10^{-2}
Approximately 10^7 $tc$ events expected at ILC
Branching ratio of $Z^\prime o tc$ predicted as 10^{-2}
Abstract
In the present work the coupling is bounded by using the current experimental data on the meson-mixing system. It is found that the strength associated to this coupling is less than . The single top production through the process at the boson resonance is studied and we found that around events will be expected at the International Linear Collider. For the decay, we predict a branching ratio of .
