Single-energy amplitudes for pion photoproduction in the first resonance region
R.L. Workman

TL;DR
This paper develops minimal-model multipole amplitudes for low-energy pion photoproduction at single energies, compares them with full resonance region fits, and discusses discrepancies to motivate further experiments.
Contribution
It introduces a minimal model approach for single-energy multipole amplitudes and compares these with broader resonance region fits, highlighting areas needing further investigation.
Findings
Identified discrepancies between minimal model amplitudes and full resonance fits.
Suggested explanations for observed discrepancies.
Motivated new experiments to resolve uncertainties.
Abstract
We consider multipole amplitudes for low-energy pion photoproduction, constructed with minimal model dependence, at single energies. Comparisons with fits to the full resonance region are made. Explanations are suggested for the discrepancies and further experiments are motivated.
