TL;DR
This paper explores boson shells with charged black holes within scalar electrodynamics and Einstein gravity, revealing their properties, existence domains, and violations of black hole uniqueness.
Contribution
It introduces new solutions of boson shells containing charged black holes, analyzing their properties and demonstrating violations of black hole uniqueness.
Findings
Solutions can contain black holes or naked singularities inside boson shells.
Energy conditions are analyzed for these composite systems.
Mass formulae for black hole--boson shell systems are derived.
Abstract
We consider boson shells in scalar electrodynamics coupled to Einstein gravity. The interior of the shells can be empty space, or harbour a black hole or a naked singularity. We analyze the properties of these types of solutions and determine their domains of existence. We investigate the energy conditions and present mass formulae for the composite black hole--boson shell systems. We demonstrate that these types of solutions violate black hole uniqueness.
