Inelastic processes in DIS and N=4 SYM
E. Levin, I. Potashnikova

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that N=4 SYM can accurately model deep inelastic scattering data from HERA within certain energy ranges, but saturation effects are negligible at accessible energies like those at the LHC.
Contribution
It shows that N=4 SYM provides a good fit to DIS data and indicates the absence of saturation effects at current collider energies.
Findings
N=4 SYM describes DIS data with $ ext{chi}^2/d.o.f. \,\leq\,1.5$
Saturation effects are not visible at LHC energies
String coupling constant $g_s$ is very small
Abstract
In this paper we compare the prediction for deep inelastic scattering from N=4 SYM with the HERA experimental data. The paper conveys two results. The first is the message that N=4 SYM is able to describe the DIS data with very good accuracy () in the region of with . The second is that the value of string coupling constant turns out to be so small that none of saturation effects will be visible in the region of accessible energies, including the maximal energy of the LHC (W = 14 \,\,TeV).
