TL;DR
This study uses perturbative QCD to analyze branching ratios and CP asymmetries in B meson decays involving scalar mesons f_0(980) and K_0^*(1430), providing predictions consistent with current experimental limits.
Contribution
It offers the first detailed PQCD-based predictions for these decay modes, considering different mixing scenarios for f_0(980) and analyzing CP asymmetries.
Findings
Branching ratios for b→d transitions are below current experimental limits.
Branching ratios for b→s transitions vary significantly between scenarios.
CP asymmetries depend strongly on the mixing angle θ, with large asymmetries in certain ranges.
Abstract
In the two-quark model supposition for and , the branching ratios and the direct CP-violating asymmetries for decays and are studied by employing the perturbative QCD (PQCD)factorization approach. we find the following results: (a) if the scalar meson is viewed as a mixture of and , the branching ratios of the decays and , which are induced by transition, are smaller than the currently experimental upper limits, and the predictions for the decay are not far away from their limits; (b) in the decays $B\to…
