Simon Badger, Ralf Sattler, Valery Yundin

TL;DR
This paper applies on-shell methods to efficiently compute compact helicity amplitudes for top-antitop production via gluon fusion, incorporating rational and mass renormalization effects from two independent Feynman diagram approaches.
Contribution
It introduces novel applications of on-shell techniques to calculate massive one-loop amplitudes with explicit mass renormalization contributions.
Findings
Successful calculation of helicity amplitudes for t tbar production
Extraction of rational and mass renormalization parts from two methods
Enhanced understanding of one-loop amplitude computations
Abstract
We show some new applications of on-shell methods to calculate compact helicity amplitudes for t tbar production through gluon fusion. The rational and mass renormalisation contributions are extracted from two independent Feynman diagram based approaches.
