Hui-feng Fu, Xiang-jun Chen, Guo-Li Wang

TL;DR
This paper estimates annihilation rates of heavy vector quarkonia states using the relativistic Salpeter method, highlighting the importance of relativistic corrections especially for excited states.
Contribution
It provides new calculations of annihilation rates for various charmonium and bottomonium states using a relativistic approach, emphasizing the significance of relativistic effects.
Findings
Calculated decay widths for multiple quarkonium states.
Relativistic corrections are crucial for excited states.
Results align with or improve upon existing theoretical estimates.
Abstract
The annihilation rates of vector charmonium and bottomonium states and , and are estimated in the relativistic Salpeter method. We obtained keV, keV, keV, keV, keV, keV and keV. In our calculations, special attention is paid to the relativistic correction, which is important and can not be ignored for excited , and higher excited states.
