The GHS inequality for the Potts Model
Sergio de Carvalho Bezerra

TL;DR
This paper extends the GHS inequality to the Potts model and provides a new proof for the Ising model using polynomial expansion techniques, highlighting variable separation.
Contribution
It generalizes the GHS inequality to the Potts model and introduces a novel polynomial-based proof for the Ising model.
Findings
GHS inequality is valid for the Potts model
A new polynomial expansion method is used for proof
Variables in the polynomial can be separated
Abstract
In this note we are concerned about the generalization of the GHS inequality for the Potts model. We also obtain by a different method the proof of the GHS inequality for the Ising model. We take advantage of a polynomial expansion and we derive that some of the variables of the polynomial can be separated
