Lensing in the Einstein-Straus solution
Thomas Schucker

TL;DR
This paper compares analytical and numerical methods for gravitational lensing in the Einstein-Straus solution with a positive cosmological constant, finding excellent agreement between the approaches.
Contribution
It provides a validation of analytical lensing calculations against numerical results within the Einstein-Straus model with cosmological constant.
Findings
Analytical and numerical lensing results agree closely.
The study confirms the reliability of analytical methods for this model.
Numerical methods validate the analytical approach.
Abstract
The analytical treatment of lensing in the Einstein-Straus solution with positive cosmological constant by Kantowski et al. is compared to the numerical treatment by the present author. The agreement is found to be excellent.
