TL;DR
This paper reviews classical foam film drainage theory and introduces a new model that considers the impact of thickness variations within the film, enhancing understanding of foam stability.
Contribution
It presents a novel theoretical approach incorporating thickness non-homogeneities into foam film drainage analysis.
Findings
Classical theory overview
New theory accounts for thickness variations
Improved understanding of foam stability
Abstract
A brief review of the classical theory of foam film drainage is presented as well as a new theory accounting for the effect of thickness non-homogeneities in the film developed by the film drainage.
