QCD corrections to non-standard WZ+jet production with leptonic decays at the LHC
Francisco Campanario, Christoph Englert, Michael Spannowsky

TL;DR
This paper investigates how anomalous WWγ and WWZ couplings affect WZ+jet production at the LHC at NLO QCD, revealing that while total cross sections are insensitive, high-momentum distributions are significantly impacted by these couplings.
Contribution
It provides a detailed NLO QCD analysis of anomalous gauge couplings in WZ+jet production including leptonic decays, highlighting their effects on kinematic distributions.
Findings
Inclusive cross sections are insensitive to anomalous couplings within scale uncertainties.
Transverse momentum distributions show significant deviations at high momentum transfers.
Anomalous couplings can be probed effectively through high-momentum observables.
Abstract
We discuss the impact of anomalous WW and WWZ couplings on WZ+jet production at next-to-leading order QCD, including full leptonic decays of the electroweak gauge bosons. While the inclusive hadronic cross sections do not exhibit any particular sensitivity to anomalous couplings once the residual QCD scale uncertainties are taken into account, the transverse momentum distributions show substantial deviations from the Standard Model, provided that the anomalous vertices are probed at large enough momentum transfers.
