Writambhara Chakraborty, Ujjal Debnath

TL;DR
This paper introduces a modified Chaplygin gas model with inhomogeneous equation of state that explains crossing of the dark energy equation of state parameter and explores its interaction with scalar fields, including potential decay over time.
Contribution
It proposes a new inhomogeneous Chaplygin gas model that accounts for $ ext{w}=-1$ crossing and studies its interaction with scalar fields using a phenomenological coupling.
Findings
Model explains $ ext{w}=-1$ crossing behavior.
Graphical representation using $ ext{r-s}$ parameters.
Potential of the scalar field decays with time.
Abstract
In this letter we present a new form of the well known Chaplygin gas model by introducing inhomogeneity in the EOS. This model explains crossing. Also we have given a graphical representation of the model using parameters. We have also considered an interaction of this model with the scalar field by introducing a phenomenological coupling function and have shown that the potential decays with time.
