Non-Minimal Inflation Revisited
Kourosh Nozari, S. Shafizadeh

TL;DR
This paper revisits a non-minimal inflationary model, analyzing its parameter space and inflationary predictions in both Jordan and Einstein frames, and compares results with recent observational data to constrain model parameters.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of non-minimal inflationary models up to second and third order slow-roll parameters, including frame comparisons and observational constraints.
Findings
Constraints on nonminimal coupling $\xi$ from observational data.
Comparison of inflation parameters in Jordan and Einstein frames.
Validation of the model against WMAP5+SDSS+SNIa data.
Abstract
We reconsider an inflationary model that inflaton field is non-minimally coupled to gravity. We study parameter space of the model up to the second ( and in some cases third ) order of the slow-roll parameters. We calculate inflation parameters in both Jordan and Einstein frames and the results are compared in these two frames and also with observations. Using the recent observational data from combined WMAP5+SDSS+SNIa datasets, we study constraint imposed on our model parameters especially the nonminimal coupling .
