The Critical Crossover at the n-Hexane - Water Interface
Aleksey M. Tikhonov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the critical crossover behavior of long-chain alcohol monolayers at the n-hexane-water interface, revealing a universal critical exponent of approximately 1.8 across different systems.
Contribution
It identifies a universal critical exponent in the critical crossover of monolayers at the n-hexane-water interface, based on parameter estimates.
Findings
Critical exponent ν ≈ 1.8 observed across systems
Universal behavior in critical crossover phenomena
Parameter estimates support theoretical predictions
Abstract
According to estimates of the parameters of the critical crossover in monolayers of long-chain alcohol molecules adsorbed at the n-hexane - water interface, all systems in which this phenomenon is observed are characterized by the same value of the critical exponent \approx 1.8.
