Decoherence and energy loss in QCD cascades in nuclear collisions
A. Leonidov, V. Nechitailo

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the medium in nuclear collisions affects QCD cascades, focusing on decoherence and energy loss mechanisms that modify jet properties.
Contribution
It introduces an analysis of medium-induced decoherence and collisional energy losses in QCD cascades within nuclear collisions.
Findings
Medium causes decoherence in QCD cascades.
Collisional losses affect cascade gluons and prehadrons.
Rapidity distributions are significantly modified by medium effects.
Abstract
The medium modifications in the properties of QCD cascades are considered. In particular, the changes in the intrajet rapidity distributions due to medium-induced decoherence, collisional losses of cascade gluons and those of final prehadrons are analyzed.
