Precision Tests of QCD Using Final State Jets and Particles
Mihajlo Mudrinic

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent high-precision measurements of jet cross sections in deep inelastic scattering at HERA, enabling precise extraction of the strong coupling constant {}S and testing QCD predictions.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of recent experimental determinations of {}S using jet data from HERA, with comparisons to NLO QCD theory.
Findings
{}S determined with sub 1% experimental precision.
Good agreement between measurements and NLO QCD predictions.
Wide range of Q2 values analyzed for {}S extraction.
Abstract
The data from the HERA experiments H1 and ZEUS allows a precise extraction of the strong coupling constant {\alpha}S with the highest experimental precision (sub 1%). A review of recent measurements of jet cross sections in neutral current deep inelastic scattering (NC DIS) at HERA is presented and compared with theoretical NLO QCD predictions. The latest determinations of {\alpha}S in a large range of Q2 are shown.
