J. Guardia, J. Montes, E. Nart

TL;DR
The paper presents '+Ideals', a Magma package that efficiently handles ideal-related computations in number fields using Montes algorithm and local techniques, avoiding pre-computation of integral bases.
Contribution
It introduces '+Ideals', a novel Magma package that improves ideal computations in number fields by leveraging Montes algorithm and local methods without pre-computing integral bases.
Findings
Efficient ideal computations in number fields.
Avoids pre-computation of integral bases.
Based on Montes algorithm and local techniques.
Abstract
We introduce our package '+Ideals' for Magma, designed to perform the basic tasks related to ideals in number fields without pre-computing integral bases. It is based on Montes algorithm and a number of local techniques that we have developed in a series of papers in the last years.
