Leptogenesis in a Hybrid Texture Neutrino Mass Model
S. Dev, Surender Verma

TL;DR
This paper explores how a specific neutrino mass matrix texture, derived from $Q_8$ symmetry, can generate the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe through leptogenesis.
Contribution
It introduces a novel hybrid texture neutrino mass model based on $Q_8$ symmetry and analyzes its implications for leptogenesis and baryon asymmetry.
Findings
CP asymmetry is successfully generated in the model
The model's predicted BAU matches observational data
The hybrid texture provides a viable framework for leptogenesis
Abstract
We investigate the CP asymmetry for a hybrid texture of the neutrino mass matrix predicted by family symmetry in the context of the type-I seesaw mechanism and examine its consequences for leptogenesis. We, also, calculate the resulting Baryon Asymmetry of the Universe (BAU) for this texture.
