Nikolaos Kidonakis

TL;DR
This paper develops a two-loop resummation technique for soft and collinear gluon effects in QCD hard scattering, providing explicit results for processes involving massless and massive quarks, enhancing precision in theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a two-loop resummation framework for QCD processes, including calculations of divergences and soft anomalous dimensions at NNLL accuracy, applicable to various quark-related processes.
Findings
Explicit two-loop resummation results for massless and massive quark processes
Calculation of UV and IR divergences at two loops
Construction of soft anomalous dimensions for NNLL resummation
Abstract
I present results for the resummation of soft and collinear gluon contributions to QCD hard-scattering cross sections at two loops. This requires the calculation of UV and IR divergences through two loops and the construction of soft anomalous dimensions that control resummation at NNLL. Explicit results are provided for processes that involve massless and/or massive quarks, including single top and top pair production.
