Reflection Positivity of Free Overlap Fermions
Yoshio Kikukawa, Kouta Usui

TL;DR
This paper proves that free lattice fermions using the overlap Dirac operator satisfy the Osterwalder-Schrader reflection positivity condition, ensuring a consistent quantum theory formulation, even in some interacting models.
Contribution
It demonstrates reflection positivity for free overlap fermions and extends the proof to certain interacting models like chiral Yukawa theories.
Findings
Reflection positivity holds for free overlap fermions.
Proof extends to non-gauge models with interactions.
Supports the theoretical consistency of lattice fermion formulations.
Abstract
It is shown that free lattice fermions defined by overlap Dirac operator fulfill the Osterwalder-Schrader reflection positivity condition with respect to the link-reflection. The proof holds true in non-gauge models with interactions such as chiral Yukawa models.
