The universal enveloping TRO of a JB*-triple system
Dennis Bohle, Wend Werner

TL;DR
This paper introduces a universal enveloping TRO for JB*-triple systems, explores its properties, and computes it for finite-dimensional Cartan factors, advancing the understanding of their algebraic structure.
Contribution
It defines the universal enveloping TRO for JB*-triple systems and analyzes its properties, including explicit computations for finite-dimensional cases.
Findings
Universal enveloping TROs exist for JB*-triple systems.
Functorial properties of the correspondence are established.
Explicit computations for finite-dimensional Cartan factors are provided.
Abstract
We associate to every JB*-triple system a so-called universal enveloping TRO and show some functorial properties of this correspondence. We compute the universal enveloping TROs of the finite dimensional Cartan factors.
