Goldstinos, Supercurrents and Metastable SUSY Breaking in N=2 Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
Ignatios Antoniadis, Matthew Buican

TL;DR
This paper develops an N=2 supersymmetric extension of the supercurrent formalism and demonstrates that certain N=2 theories cannot break supersymmetry, indicating the absence of metastable SUSY-breaking vacua in these models.
Contribution
It introduces a new N=2 supercurrent formalism and proves constraints on SUSY breaking in N=2 theories with superconformal anomalies.
Findings
N=2 supercurrent formalism constructed
N=2 theories with linear anomalies cannot break SUSY
No metastable SUSY vacua in large class of N=2 theories
Abstract
We construct an N=2 supersymmetric generalization of the N=1 supercurrent formalism of Komargodski and Seiberg (KS) and use it to show that N=2 theories with linear superconformal anomalies cannot break SUSY under certain broad assumptions. This result suggests that there are no metastable SUSY breaking vacua in a large class of theories that includes N=2 Super Yang-Mills (SYM).
