Ning Wang, Xuexin Yu, Min Liu

TL;DR
This paper extends a previously proposed analytical formula for Coulomb energy from spherical nuclei to include axially deformed nuclei with beta2 deformation, enabling more accurate energy calculations for deformed nuclear shapes.
Contribution
The work introduces an analytical extension of Coulomb energy calculation to axially deformed nuclei, improving modeling of nuclear energies for deformed shapes.
Findings
Extended formula accurately describes Coulomb energy for deformed nuclei.
Provides a practical tool for nuclear structure calculations.
Enhances understanding of energy contributions in deformed nuclear systems.
Abstract
We previously proposed a formula for calculating the Coulomb energy of spherical nucleus with Wood-Saxon charge distribution. In this work, the analytical formula is extended for description of the Coulomb energy of nucleus with beta2 deformation.
