Comment on "Precise half-life values for two-neutrino double beta decay"
B. Pritychenko

TL;DR
This paper reanalyzes tellurium data for two-neutrino double beta decay, providing revised half-life values that support an energy-dependent decay transition trend consistent with the two-nucleon mechanism.
Contribution
It offers a more accurate reanalysis of tellurium decay data, challenging previous incomplete results and supporting a specific energy dependence in the decay mechanism.
Findings
Higher half-life value for $^{128}$Te in 2$ u$-decay
Revised ratio of $^{128}$Te to $^{130}$Te half-lives
Supports the $T^{2 u}_{1/2} ext{~} rac{1}{E^{8}}$ energy trend
Abstract
The results by A.S. Barabash [Phys. Rev. {\bf C 81}, 035501 (2010)] are shown to be incomplete. Tellurium data sets were reanalyzed using the best practices of ENSDF evaluations. Present analysis indicates much higher value for the 2-mode half-life time in Te and the corresponding ratio of Te half-lives. These values imply the -decay transition energy trend that is consistent with the two-nucleon mechanism of (2)-decay.
