Vortex Dynamics in Anisotropic Traps
S. McEndoo, Th. Busch

TL;DR
This paper explores how vortex lattices behave in two-dimensional anisotropic traps, revealing complex yet regular dynamics influenced by rotation and anisotropy.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of vortex lattice dynamics in anisotropic traps, highlighting the effects of rotation and anisotropy on vortex behavior.
Findings
Vortex lattice dynamics are highly regular despite complexity.
Interplay between rotation and anisotropy significantly influences vortex behavior.
Rich dynamical regimes emerge from anisotropic effects.
Abstract
We investigate the dynamics of linear vortex lattices in anisotropic traps in two-dimensions and show that the interplay between the rotation and the anisotropy leads to a rich but highly regular dynamics.
